sometimes I think I forget how to smile for the camera. I don't know how one doesn't automatically smile after somebody whips out a camera to capture the moment, after all we are programed to do so. It's not that I am unhappy.... because I am very much so everything is working out finally... I think I just forget to show it outwardly. We are such a strange species showing our teeth when we are happy rather than for aggression. Sometimes its hard to fake the smiles, and laughter that you don't genuinely feel, and you get caught up in it. I once told myself that if I forced myself to feel it, to smile, laugh, and engage myself into conversations for the purpose of overcoming my anxiety I would genuinely feel those emotions. Sometimes I fall into the same habits and then I see how beautiful the world is and smile. Maybe that's why I take pictures of myself. A reminder to smile.
